ESCP is pleased to announce the following prizes awarded in Sorrento.The Best of the Six Best Papers
The Best of the Six Best Papers was awarded to Frédéric Bretagnol (France) for his paper entitled 'B4 Rectal cancer surgery without bowel preparation: the French greccar III multicentre single-blinded randomized trial'.The prize of £600 sterling was awarded by Prof. Neil Mortensen on behalf of the British Journal of Surgery who kindly sponsored this award.
The Best Lunchtime Poster Award
The Best Lunchtime Poster Award was won by Sandra Alonso (Spain) for her paper entitled 'Postoperative peritoneal infection and recurrence of colorectal cancer: the postoperative inflammatory response and angiogenesis as mechanisms responsible for this association. ESCP awarded a prize of €300 for this abstract.
