You are currently Chair of the Programme Committee, what are the roles and responsibilities of the committee? The Programme Committee is composed of a group of personalities who are very active in all the fields of coloproctology. They must be up-to-date, active in research and have an extensive knowledge of the literature and authors throughout Europe.

Tina Chen won the British Journal of Surgery Prize for the Best of the Six Best Papers, and Thomas Golda won the Best Lunchtime Poster. Tina will travel to the ASCRS meeting in Hollywood, Florida in May 2014 to present her paper there as part of the ESCP/ASCRS reciprocal Travelling Fellow programme.ESCP Secretariat
