On Friday 27 September, delegates packed into Plenary Hall A for the final symposium at ESCP’s 14th Annual Meeting in Vienna, Austria. The session, ‘Simple solutions for challenging perineal problems’, included presentations from four renowned colorectal specialists and was chaired by Ethem Gecim (Turkey) and Iain Anderson (UK).

ESCP is delighted to announce that Dr Eloy Espin-Basany has been selected by the Executive Committee as the new incoming Assistant Secretary for the Society.Dr Espin will begin his term of office in September 2013, following the ESCP meeting in Belgrade. He will then succeed Mr Peter Dawson as Secretary when he demits office in September 2014.
