Bulgaria is a country in southeastern Europe. It is bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and Macedonia to the west, Greece and Turkey to the south, and the Black Sea to the east. With a territory of 110,994 square kilometres (42,855 sq mi), Bulgaria is Europe's 16th largest country. It is a member of the European Union.
Bulgaria's population of 7.2 million people is predominantly urbanized and mainly concentrated in the administrative centres of its 28 provinces.
In our small ESCP Bulgarian community is develop slowly and progressive. Now we have 16 members.
In Bulgaria there is only Bulgarian Surgical Society (BSS). We established working group for creation of Bulgarian Society of Coloproctology with support from BSS and leading Bulgarian surgeons.
Each year in September/October in our country there are National Congress of coloproctology with International Participation or National Congress of Surgery with International Participation
