Feza Remzi

Clinical/research background

Feza H. Remzi, MD, is the Chairman of the Department of Colorectal Surgery in the Digestive Disease Institute at the Cleveland Clinic and a Professor of Surgery in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Remzi is also the Director of the Center for International Medical Education in the Education Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr Remzi’s specialty interests include surgical treatment for mucosal ulcerative colitis, Crohn's Disease, diverticulitis, pelvic pouch procedures for mucosal ulcerative colitis and familial adenomatous polyposis, sphincter-saving operations, surgery for carcinoma of the colon and rectum re-operative abdominopelvic surgery.
