The Center of Colorectal and Pelvic Floor Surgery in Hospital Waldfriede in Berlin is one of the biggest colorectal centers in Germany with 2400 colorectal procedures per year. Our main interest in clinic and research are:
- Colitis, Crohn's disease and colorectal cancer
- Proctology
- Functional pelvic floor disorders (fecal incontinence and obstructed defecation)
Biannually we organize the worldwide conference 'Innovations in coloproctology', a famous live surgery symposium with participants and speakers from all over the world.
